I designed this underwear when my son was scratching the itching area with his fingernails because he has Atopic.

Atopic patients itch on their bodies because of many reasons.

Pollen from trees・・・

Ash from bush fire・・・

Soap left in the washing ・・・

Nocturnal sweat and so on.

These kinds of stimulus bring about the itching.

I chose this special material because it absorbs sweat and get dry so quickly.  The fiber is very soft, long and very thin and the material will not stick to our skin when sweat hence the skin does not get hurt when rubbed with this material. As you can see from the above pictures, the skin condition does not change so much when rubbed with the specialmaterial.

                                               Soap left in the washing and the stimulus also brings about the itching.

                         However the material is specially developed so that the washing soap can be removed easily.

The special material absorbs sweat and get dry so quickly, so it does not stick to the skin when we sweat.

Hence the skin will not get hurt when rubbing with the material.  Kids can have prickly heat if clothing sticks to their  sweated skins.  Especially around the necks while they are sleeping.   So we have to take a special care of their underwear but most underwear do not have any collar. That’s why I decided to make underwear with this material.
